Shipping Policy

At Floofy Newfie Tackle, our goal is to provide you with the best shipping rates by default, no matter where you are. We attempt to control costs using USPS free shipping boxes and then further apply the discounts of shipping aggregators. If USPS is not a suitable shipping method, customers are free to request UPS or FedEx in the order notes box (located in the cart) and we will work with you to adjust the carrier and cost.

Shipment Processing Time

Orders are collected daily to be shipped no later than the next day. The exception to this is custom orders of soft plastics which require time to manufacture and cure. This can extend the shipping time by 2-3 days (cure time is 48 hrs.)

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

We primarily use USPS priority mail and attempt to pass along discounts to the customer by using Shopify and other carrier shipping partners. Ship delivery estimates from USPS are typically 1-3 days from Pennsylvania but exceptions can occur. These delivery estimates can be found directly from USPS, at the following URL: https://www.usps.com/ship/priority-mail.htm

On small soft plastic orders of 1-4 bags of bait less than 6.5 inches in length, we reduce the cost of shipping by using padded envelopes and charging a flat rate of $4. This is done to minimize shipping costs for customers.Β 

How do I know that my order has been shipped?

Approximately 1 hour after label generation, you will receive an email providing your tracking information. You will have the ability to track your package online. The email gives you the ability to reply to us if you see any issues.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

We do not ship to APO/FPO addresses

Wrong or incomplete address

If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you must pay all delivery costs to re-deliver your order to a corrected address. We are not responsible for the loss of your order if the address provided at checkout is incomplete or incorrect.

Delayed or Lost Orders

A parcel is considered lost after it has been in the postal system for a period of 15 business days for US orders. We cannot take responsibility for delays caused by the courier. Although orders are expected to take much less time, we are unable to dispatch a replacement until this period has elapsed.

Damages from shipping

If you receive a package that has been damaged, you are responsible for taking photos of the damage immediately. Please include the shipping label, multiple angles of the package damage, and pictures of the damaged product. Upon receipt of the photos, we will replace your item while we work a claim with the carrier.
